2022 Duane Michals MA-g Awards for Photography
The photographer has taken a traditional painted portrait and photographically made it into something original without betraying photography. They have enhanced the painting, producing a new product which shows an understanding and brings photographic insight into Modigliani’s painting. And the product is a unique category – Photopaintingportrait where Modigliani’s work is respected, and photographically metamorphosed it into a new event

2022 Gerald Scarfe MA-g Awards for Illustration
This was a very difficult decision to make, as all of the entries are excellent. But this one stood out and appealed to me because this entrant is not only an excellent artist but also has a great sense of humour – with a political intention that the artist succeeds in conveying a wide audience. I wish this year's winner and all the others in the tough world of being an artist ongoing success
