Jan Bons
The Netherlands (1918—2016)
After studying at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, Bons moved to the Nieuwe Kunstschool in Amsterdam on Paul Citroen’s advice. He worked as an advertising designer until WWII. After the war he continued to produce posters, such as those for International Documentary Festival IDFA, and the Appel theatre and stamps for PTT post.
