Training as assistant director at his father movie studio, Bragaglia spent all his life in theatre and cinema. In 1911 he published Fotodinamica Futurista and Manifesto of Futurist cinema. In the same year he became editor of the magazine L’Artista and few years later he founded Cronache d’Attualità. He also founded a film studio Novissma-Film and produced futurist films. He became promoter of Futurist art and opened the art gallery Casa d’arte Bragaglia in 1918. He also founded the Teatro Sperimentale degli Indipendenti between 1922 and 1916. Between 1937 and 1943 he became Director of the Teatro delle Arti. Until his death in 1960 he continued to wrote articles and books about theatre, art and cinema.
